Diabolo Ninebark (Physocarpus) in tree form has great character with its peeling bark, pinkish white flowers in spring, and purple leaves with saw-tooth edges. It grows eight to 10 feet tall and, while it will withstand a part-shade location, it prefers evenly moist soil.

One of the best new Barberries, this great variety stays compact and has excellent deep purple / burgundy foliage color. Bright yellow spring flowers and deep red fall color add to the ornamental attributes of this excellent contrast or accent plant. Extremely drought tolerant once established. A great new plant pick.
